The enrolment process at The Hall State School requires an interview with the Principal where an Application for student enrolment form (PDF, 5.8MB) is completed. Parents and students should bring a recent report card from their previous school.
Students enrolling in the Preparatory Year need to have a birth certificate, passport or other satisfactory documentary evidence sighted. Students enrolling in Prep in the current year must turn 5 years of age by the 30 June of that year.
View the Department's online calculator to determine when your child can commence their preparatory year.
On acceptance of enrolment, various other forms need to be completed including a media release form and an enrolment agreement.
It is important to maintain accurate student details and emergency contact information in case of illness of the student. If there are any particular changes to the information on the admission form or specific family concerns (eg child custody), the school must be advised in writing, to protect the rights of the parent, child and Principal/Teacher.
Medical conditions need to be identified at the enrolment interview so that good care can be taken of the student.
